Salient Motion is in the process of securing FAA Part 145 Repair Station certification to expand our support capabilities for commercial and military operators. This designation will authorize us to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services on electromechanical actuation systems in compliance with FAA airworthiness standards.Once approved, our Part 145 station will offer:

• In-house repair and return services for actuators and control electronics
• FAA-approved procedures and documentation (including 8130-3 tags)
• Streamlined support for fielded systems and aftermarket programs
• Full traceability, inspection records, and certified test reports

Our dedicated integration suite replicates a full-scale business class cabin environment, allowing for end-to-end testing of seat actuation systems in realistic conditions. We validate system performance, user interface behavior, mechanical fitment, and electrical integration—all before flight installation.

We operate an in-house radiated emissions chamber designed for EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing per DO-160G and MIL-STD-461. This allows us to detect and resolve potential interference issues early, reducing costly rework and increasing certification confidence.

Factory OS is Salient Motion’s integrated digital manufacturing system. It connects procurement, production, QA, and test data in real time—ensuring full traceability from incoming parts to final shipment. Every component is barcode-tracked and inspection data is digitally logged for compliance and audit readiness.
